Governance

The La Luz Landowners Association is a democratically elected, self-governing body that maintains the community of La Luz del Oeste. Each of the 96 residences of La Luz has a vote to elect the Board of Directors and to approve annual dues.

The Board elects a President and oversees Committees formed of volunteer resident members. The Board with its President is the hub; the committees are spokes. All together they create a vibrant, democratic and communal energy that unites La Luz and keeps it moving forward.

Board and Committees typically meet once a month. Any homeowner may attend any Board meeting, but an annual meeting with a roll call for all residences occurs in December.
